Hi there! I am currently studying at Northwestern University to obtain my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. At the same time, I am receiving my clinical training here at Oak Brook Counseling & Wellness under direct supervision of Kate Hoffower, LCPC. I am also being supervised by my faculty at Northwestern University.

I’m so happy you’re here! A little bit about me, I come from a science background and have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lewis University. I have previous clinical experience and have worked with many different populations. I stumbled upon the mental health field after my own life experiences, and haven’t looked back since. As a South Asian, first-generation woman, my passion lies in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and under-served communities.

Considering the pandemic, mental health issues have only escalated. I work with clients to facilitate a comfortable and safe environment where they can be themselves. I offer virtual therapy for your convenience and provide you with the tools you need to heal. I believe in looking at you as a person, not you with a problem. This holistic approach helps us create a better therapeutic relationship and ensures that we will be able to work towards the best goals for you.

If you would like to work with me, please reach out! I’d love to see if we would make a good fit and I could help you achieve a healthier, more content version of you. Sending you love and healing <3
