Ava is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned her Master’s Degree
in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2006. Her pronouns are she/her/hers. 

 

She has worked as a school social worker for 14 years and has extensive knowledge working with children, adolescents, and their families.
In particular, she has knowledge in special education, and emotional
and behavioral disorders.

 

She has worked with a variety of people of various backgrounds, ages, and concerns. She has clinical experience working with adults and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. 

 

Ava uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strengths-based approach to help her clients recognize unhealthy thinking to change behavior and change their lives.
