Acceptance
Commitement Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines principles of mindfulness and behavioral change strategies to help individuals develop psychological flexibility. The core goal of ACT is not to eliminate difficult emotions but to help people accept them as part of their experience and commit to taking meaningful action in line with their personal values.

Internal Family Systems

The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of distinct sub-personalities, or "parts," each with its own perspective, memories, and roles. Developed by Richard Schwartz, IFS helps individuals identify and understand these parts, promoting harmony within the self. By recognizing the unique needs and functions of each part, individuals can work towards healing and integration, ultimately fostering a healthier relationship with themselves. IFS emphasizes self-compassion and encourages individuals to access their core Self, which can lead to personal growth and emotional well-being.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that helps people manage strong emotions and develop better coping skills. It was created by Dr. Marsha Linehan to treat borderline personality disorder but is now used for other issues like anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.

DBT blends cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness, focusing on both acceptance and change.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines prescription ketamine with traditional therapy to help treat conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD, especially when other treatments haven't worked. During sessions, patients receive a controlled dose of ketamine under supervision, entering a trance-like state that promotes deep introspection. The therapist guides the patient to process their experiences and apply new insights to daily life. The goal is to use this altered state to support deeper psychological healing.

Substance use counseling is a type of therapy for people struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. It helps individuals understand why they use substances, develop better ways to cope, and work on recovery and avoiding relapse.

Counseling may include one-on-one or family sessions, education on substance effects, and creating a recovery plan. Therapists use evidence based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help people change their behavior and build strength.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. It focuses on recognizing and changing negative or unhelpful thought patterns to improve emotional well-being and behavior.

CBT is structured, goal-focused, and often short-term. It is effective for treating various issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and phobias. Sessions may include exercises such as tracking thoughts, role-playing, and practicing new habits to replace negative behaviors with positive ones.
