Jeffery Siddall, MA, NCC, LPC

I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago in 2017. My pronouns are he/him/his.

Along with my counseling education and skills, I had a successful first career working as a special education and traditional elementary teacher, reading specialist, and literacy staff developer.  Recently, I worked in higher education as a doctorate level college professor for 18 years, at a community college teaching developmental and traditional English classes.

I have valuable professional and life experiences working with all ages, challenges, and diversity of people. I have provided counseling to people with severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, addictions, and transitional life challenges.  I am passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated in working with diverse people with a variety of issues.

The evidence-based counseling modalities that I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, or Psychodynamic Therapy. These effective, evidence-based modalities assist clients’ abilities to recognize their unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I collaborate with clients to set goals and complete homework assignments to make changes for a healthier and more satisfying life.
