Mental Health Professional
About Me
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in Children & Adolescents, working closely under the guidance and weekly supervision of Sabrina Gosmire, LCPC, CADC, and KAP. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and am deeply passionate about mental health. My academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Italian and Italian American Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where I also studied Neuroscience.
My Counseling Philosophy
My approach is firmly rooted in diversity, respect, and empathy. I aim to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients can navigate life’s stressors, learn healthy coping skills, and pursue personal growth. My goal is to empower individuals to develop tools for self-awareness and self-development as they face challenges.
A Safe Space for All Identities
I believe that no one can fully understand another person’s unique experiences, but my role is to provide a space where those experiences are respected, celebrated, and explored. I am committed to affirming all identities and creating an environment where clients feel safe to share their stories. Together, we will work towards building resilience and improving mental health.
