About Me

Dr. Carla Monday is a School Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Counselor.  She has extensive knowledge working with children, adolescents, and their families.   In addition to having over a decade of experience working as a school psychologist,  Carla specializes in trauma informed interventions, women's mental health, and cultural responsiveness.  She ensures that each client receives the compassionate guidance they need.  She focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families. Together, we work to empower our clients on their journey toward healing and wellness.

I work with adolescents and adults to address a wide range of issues, including:

  • Family Conflict: Improve communication, resolve disputes, and strengthen family bonds.

  • Trauma: Support individuals processing traumatic events and developing resilience.

  • Mood Disorders: Providing tools and strategies for managing conditions such as depression and anxiety.

  • Grief and Loss: Assist individuals in navigating complex emotions after the death of a loved or significant losses.

  • Relational Distress: Helping parents, and siblings resolve conflict and foster healthier relationships.

  • Life Transitions: Guiding individuals through major life changes, such as divorce, moving, or starting a new school.

  • Stress Management:  Offer coping mechanisms and relaxation techniques to reduce everyday stress.
